EDIT Tuesday

Does my widget deceive me? Is it really 53° outside? Oh the thought of Fall being here again is exciting. That nice, crisp air; the thought of wearing a jacket again.

And in the afternoon. Oh, and the warm, but not sweltering, sun accompanied with the cool northern breeze is mother nature's idea of happy. With every breath I inhaled joy.

Ironically, this Tuesday was a beautiful, cloudless day just as described on a Tuesday six years ago. Surely I wasn't the only one who stopped to appreciate the change in weather. With the deep blue background giving the bright foreground that added dimension, who couldn't notice? Noticing takes only a moment and only a fool wouldn't take the time. Luckily this Tuesday, the lovely day turned in to a peaceful night.

Yesterday, my only complaint was how my computer at work wouldn't work properly. When I got home, I actually uttered the phrase, "If there was anything that could go wrong, it did." Thinking back, its almost creepy. Reflecting really puts things into prospective.

But to talk about September, 11th, I honestly don't know. How should we act, what should we do? Guess we can have that discussion right after the next major disaster. Perhaps the only thing we can do is reflect. Hm, the Parliament letter comes into mind...

You know, October is just around the corner. Much going on then: the leaves start to fall, it'll get much cooler, Halloween, the anniversary of my wife and I meeting, and her birthday. October is the best time of the year. It's cold, but not freezing. The landscape is colorful, but not dead looking, and things seem to just work out. Besides, how can a month be bad when it ends with cute little kids in cute little costumes riding around in the back of pickups?

This isn't to dismiss December and January. There is nothing better than to get under a pile of thick blankets with a cute little woman cuddling up next to you trying to stay warm.

So, a long story short, I LOVE cold weather.
