Idle Thoughts

I've had a long, crappy day today and that causes me to force myself in a state of mind where I don't think about that crap that's causing me anxiety. That and listen to stuff like Duke Ellington, Muddy Waters, and Tom Waits. It's all a slowho thing.
Here's some thoughts I had.... Why are more and more things referred to by their acronym? Is PAWN, as in PAWN Shop, an acronym for something? There are sofas that turn into beds, so why isn't there beds that turn into a sofa? Product idea. An alarm clock with random alarms of women's voices saying sexually subjective things. Besides a drink, are there any other items that are named by what are done with them? Since most TVs no longer have controls on the set themselves, why don't they put a button on the TV to make the remote beep so you can find it? Come on Asia! Why isn't infrared a fast medium to transfer data? Its light. Hm, its strange the word medium has two meanings. A cup is a medium. You can choose your size; a small medium, a medium medium, or a large medium. Will we ever have automatic doors in our homes like in futuristic movies? If so, don't walk too close to the door while changing. If we had eyes on the back of our heads, how will that look and what will that do to depth prescription? If hippies in the 60s cared so much about the environment, why did they drive those gas guzzling VW Buses? Has any white people ever made/inspired sexy music? Why doesn't Starbucks sell donuts? Microsoft came up with an obvious name for Windows. Apple should have called MacOS Folders & Arrow. In sitcoms, it seems like no one has caller ID.
